Desiccant packets have hygroscopic properties, so in less-than-container load (LCL) shipments, packing them with flammable items poses a very high risk of fire or explosion. Although the packets themselves are not dangerous, they absorb moisture from the air, making the air drier.

This product is usually packaged in bags of 1g, 2g, 3g, 4g, 5g, 10g, 20g, 50g, 100g, 200g, 500g, 1kg, and 25kg bags. For transportation, they must be packed in cardboard boxes, and to minimize moisture absorption from the air, they are placed in sealed PP bags to isolate them from the air, thus limiting moisture absorption and ensuring product quality and safety during transport.
The import tax on desiccant beads (silica gel) is 0%.
