What do the symbols on the container shell mean? What do shippers need to know about container shells? ... and many similar questions. In this article, Door to Door Vietnam will clarify the information on container shells , the symbols and writing on them, and how to use those parameters.
Containers come in many types, each with its own unique designation and different size and construction standards. However, currently in Vietnam, the main types of containers are the following (20'DC or 20'GP, 40'GP, 45'GP, 20'ISO Tank, 20'OT, 40'OT, 20'RF, 40'RF, 40'FR), and we will only explain these types.
Most of this information is recorded on the back of the container, with the parameters on the back of the container complying with ISO 6346 (International Shipping Container Standard).
