Import procedures for adhesive tape

The procedures for importing adhesive tape are regulated by the following legal documents:

Circular 38/2015/TT-BTC dated March 25, 2015; amended and supplemented by Circular 39/2018/TT-BTC dated April 20, 2018.

Decree No. 15/2018/ND-CP dated February 2, 2018

Circular No. /2021/TT-BYT dated /12/2021. Guidance on the implementation of Decree 98/2021/ND-CP.
Document 43/2021/TT-BTC dated June 11, 2021

According to the aforementioned legal documents, adhesive tape is not on the list of prohibited goods for import and export. The import procedures for all types of adhesive tape will proceed normally like other goods. For used tape, it must be imported as scrap and requires an import license.
