The procedures for importing confectionery are regulated in the following legal documents:
- Circular 38/2015/TT-BTC dated March 25, 2015; amended and supplemented by Circular 39/2018/TT-BTC dated April 20, 2018.
- Decree 69/2018/ND-CP dated May 15, 2018
- Decree No. 15/2018/ND-CP dated February 2, 2018
According to the above legal documents, you can see that confectionery products, when imported, must undergo food safety declaration and food safety inspection. Aside from the food safety inspection, the import procedures for confectionery are the same as for other normal goods.
