Circuit breakers are electrical equipment items under the management of the Ministry of Science and Technology. The import policy for circuit breakers will be regulated in the following legal documents:
- Circular 38/2015/TT-BTC dated March 25, 2015; amended and supplemented by Circular 39/2018/TT-BTC dated April 20, 2018.
- Circular 41/2015/TT-BCT dated November 24, 2015
- Decree 69/2018/ND-CP dated May 15, 2018
- Decree No. 15/2018/ND-CP dated February 2, 2018
- Decision No. 583/QD-TCHQ dated March 22, 2019
According to the aforementioned legal documents, circuit breakers are not on the list of prohibited imported goods. The import procedure for circuit breakers will be the same as for other normal goods. For circuit breakers used in explosion-proof distribution and switching equipment, quality inspection must be carried out according to Circular 41/2015/TT-BCT.
