Latest procedures for importing computer components.

The procedures for importing computer components are regulated by the following legal documents:

+ Circular 38/2015/TT-BTC dated March 25, 2015; amendments and supplements

Circular No. 9/2018/TT-BTC dated April 20, 2018;

+ Decree 69/2018/ND-CP dated May 15, 2018;

+ Decree No. 15/2018/ND-CP dated February 2, 2018;

+ Decree 69/2018/ND-CP dated May 15, 2018;

+ Decree No. 43/2017/ND-CP dated April 14, 2017;

+ Decree 128/2020/ND-CP dated October 19, 2020.

According to the above legal documents, computer components are not on the list of prohibited imports. However, used electronic components are on the list of prohibited imports. When carrying out import procedures for computer components, the following points should be noted: Used computer components are not allowed to be imported;

+) When importing computer components, the goods must be labeled according to Decree 43/2017/ND-CP;

+) Identifying the correct HS code is crucial for determining the correct tax and avoiding penalties.
