The procedures for importing shower gel are regulated by the following legal documents:
- Circular No. 06/2011/TT-BYT dated January 25, 2011
- Circular 38/2015/TT-BTC dated March 25, 2015; amended and supplemented by Circular 39/2018/TT-BTC dated April 20, 2018
- Decree 69/2018/ND-CP dated May 15, 2018
- Circular 32/2019/TT-BYT dated December 16, 2019
According to the aforementioned legal documents, shower gel is not on the list of prohibited imported goods. However, when going through import procedures, a cosmetic product declaration is required for shower gel.
In addition, for products bearing images or logos of well-known, internationally copyrighted shower gel brands, you must have an authorization letter or written approval from the manufacturer allowing importation.
