The procedure for returning imported goods, or re-exporting goods already imported due to defects, incorrect shipments, or mandatory returns from competent authorities, is not uncommon when importing goods into Vietnam.
Regarding the procedure for returning imported goods, there are two possible scenarios:
Case 1: Returning goods before customs clearance is completed and while the goods are still under customs supervision (manifest has already been declared).
Scenario 2: Returning goods after customs clearance has been completed.
