• Decree No. 15/2018/ND-CP dated February 2, 2018.

According to the above legal documents, confectionery products are not on the list of prohibited imports. However, when importing these items, the following points should be noted:

• Confectionery products must undergo food safety inspections upon import.
• When importing confectionery, the goods must be labeled in accordance with Decree 43/2017/ND-CP.
• Identifying the correct HS code is crucial for determining the correct tax and avoiding penalties.
