Import procedures for swimwear

SWIMWEAR IMPORT POLICY

The procedures and policies for importing swimwear are stipulated in the following legal documents:
• Circular 38/2015/TT-BTC dated March 25, 2015; amended and supplemented by Circular 39/2018/TT-BTC dated April 20, 2018
• Decree 69/2018/ND-CP dated May 15, 2018
• Circular 14/2018/TT-BYT dated May 15, 2018
• Decree No. 43/2017/ND-CP dated April 14, 2017,
• Decree 128/2020/ND-CP dated October 19, 2020.

According to the above legal documents, swimwear is not on the list of prohibited imported goods. When carrying out import procedures for swimwear, the following points should be noted:
• Used swimwear is prohibited from import.
• Imported branded glass requires authorization from the manufacturer.
• When importing goods, they must be labeled in accordance with Decree 43/2017/ND-CP;
• Identifying the correct HS code is crucial for determining the correct tax and avoiding penalties.
