PROCEDURES FOR IMPORTING WALLPAPER

Regarding the policy on wallpaper imports , the following documents provide specific regulations.
• Decision 08/2015/ND-CP dated January 21, 2015
• Circular 38/2015/TT-BTC dated March 25, 2015; amended and supplemented by Circular 39/2018/TT-BTC dated April 20, 2018
• Circular 5851/TB-TCHQ dated June 26, 2015
• Circular No. 156/2011/TT-BTC dated November 14, 2011
• Decree No. 15/2022/ND-CP dated January 28, 2022
According to the above documents, wallpaper is not on the list of prohibited imported goods. However, when importing wallpaper, the following points should be noted:
• Used wallpaper is on the list of prohibited imports;
• Accurately identifying the HS code is necessary to avoid penalties and import tax charges.
• Product labels must be affixed to the product or its packaging.
