Import procedures for floor cleaning machines

IMPORT POLICY FOR FLOOR SCRUBBING MACHINES

The procedures for importing floor cleaning machines are regulated in the following legal documents.

• Official document No. 3010 TCHQ/GSQL dated June 30, 2004,
• Circular 23/2015/TT-BKHCN dated November 13, 2015,
• Circular 103/2015/TT-BTC dated July 1, 2015,
• Official document No. 589/CT-TTHT dated January 17, 2017,
• Circular 38/2015/TT-BTC dated March 25, 2015; amended and supplemented by Circular 39/2018/TT-BTC dated April 20, 2018
• Decree No. 69/2018/ND-CP dated May 15, 2018
• Decision 18/2019/QD-TTg dated April 19, 2019.

According to the above legal documents, we can see that floor cleaning machines are not on the list of prohibited imported goods. For used floor cleaning machines, the import process will follow Decision 18/2019/QD-TTg. Used floor cleaning machines must meet the following two conditions for import.

• Equipment age under 10 years,
• Importing equipment for production purposes.

In addition, please note that used floor cleaning machine parts are on the list of prohibited imports.
