List of equipment required to register for quality inspection

(Details: according to Circular 02/2024/TT-BTTTT of the Ministry of Information and Communications)

a. Group of short-range radio transceivers

Wifi transceivers such as WiFi Access Point transmitters , Laptops , Tablets , mobile phones ...

Short-range radio transceivers such as RFID readers , NFC barcode readers, IoT application devices using LPWAN technology...

b. Group of telecommunications equipment and specialized equipment

2G, 3G, 4G/LTE, 5G NR mobile information terminals such as mobile phones , journey monitoring devices,GPS positioning devices

Typical mobile telecommunications equipment includes base stations, microwave equipment, and repeaters.

Marine transceiver equipment such as EPIRB radio beacon, AIS automatic identification, GMDSS, radar, Immasart, VSAT Ku band / C band ...

Specialized radio telecommunications equipment includes TETRA terrestrial radio trunking equipment... VHF, MF, HF, UHF radio transceivers such as walkie-talkies and telephones specialized in the maritime, aviation, oil and gas industries...

c. Group of information technology equipment

Information technology devices include desktop computers, laptops, tablets...

Since 2018, devices in the information technology equipment group including firewalls, switches, connection ports (wired type), server computers... are no longer in the list of group 2 goods of the Ministry of Information and Communications, so they do not have to be registered for state quality inspection.

d. Group of radio and television broadcasting equipment

Typical groups of broadcasting equipment that must be certified and declared for conformity include Smart TVs , set-top-box decoders ( TiVi Box ) , and amplifiers in cable TV systems.
