SEAFREIGHT

Seafreight shipment refers to the method of transporting cargo via sea and it is also known as oceanfreight shipments. These are two types of seafreights; FCL and LCL. 

Full Container Load (FCL) refers to the volume of the cargo that can be loaded in a 20 feet or 40 feet container which cargoes are owned by a shipper and a consignee accordingly. We have the best rate across the borders as we have Service contracts with different carriers worldwide. 

Less Container Load (LCL) refers to the cargo which volume is NOT that much and to save costs it can be loaded in container together with other cargoes consigned to different consignees and shipped by different shippers. Airfreight shipment is also known as air cargo. These are usually the urgent cargoes that need to send via air loaded in the aircrafts where time is very critical & must be considered. CUSTOMS CLEARANCE

Aside from being a forwarder, we are also expert in handling Customs clearance both exports and imports by sea and by air. These terms were in under Incoterms 2010 and are now converted to more comprehensive & specific terms in Incoterms 2020. But these terms are still use in these days as part of the traditional shipping terms in actual. 

Different between DDU & DDP explained: 

Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) means that the seller is responsible for the safe delivery of goods to a named destination, paying all transportation expenses and assuming all risks during transport. Once the goods arrive at the agreed-upon location, the buyer becomes responsible for paying import duties, as well as further transport costs. However, Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) indicates that the seller must cover duties, import clearance, and any taxes.
