Cosco Shipping Bulk Orders 10 New Bulk Carriers
Cosco Shipping Bulk has signed a contract to build 10 new bulk carriers, highlighting its goal of high-quality development and enhanced cooperation between parties in the shipping industry.

Cosco Shipping Group continues to expand its fleet with a new bulk carrier order placed by its subsidiary Cosco Shipping Bulk.
Cosco Shipping Bulk has signed a contract to build ten 82,000 dwt bulk carriers with Jiangsu Hantong Heavy Industry. Upon delivery, the vessels will be leased on a long-term basis to Chinese financial services provider Everbright Financial Leasing.
Cosco Shipping Bulk believes that the signing of this contract will promote the high-quality development of the shipping industry and enhance cross-industry cooperation between shipowners, shipyards and financial institutions.
Currently, Cosco Shipping Bulk operates a bulk carrier fleet of more than 500 vessels.
In August, Cosco Shipping Development announced a series of investment plans for 42 bulk carriers, including 20 to be built at Cosco Shipping Heavy Industry and 22 at CSSC Chengxi Shipyard, to significantly increase the size of its fleet.
