Export market share of masks in the world
China is the largest exporter of masks, accounting for about 40% of the market share.
China dominates the mask market
Vietnam Trade Office in Japan said that the export volume to the world was about USD 119.4 billion. In particular, China is the largest exporter with about 40% market share. Followed by Germany and the US with market share of 7.2% and 5.7%, respectively.
In the current shortage of masks in the world, China has increased production in large quantities, particularly from March 1 to April 4, 2020, China exported 3,8006 billion pcs. The number increased by 10 times compared to before.

What is the effect of the mask?
Wearing a preventive mask for infectious virus also has no clear evidence.
However, masks protect the droplets when sneezing disperses them.
Corona Virus's diameter is 0.1micro meters, while non-woven masks only prevent droplets from spraying with a diameter of about 5 micro meters. When the virus spreads out on the droplets, the mask also has some effect.
As the demand for masks in the world continues to rise, the shortage of masks continues. Masks are effective in preventing droplets, so when wearing them, wear a mask.
Currently, there is no conclusions about the effectiveness of masks on the medical side, but it should be noted the necessity of wearing masks when the European and American countries before the situation of COVID outbreak broke out, they began to ask for people to wear masks in public places even though they did not have this habit before.
