FESCo Restructures Service Network Connecting Russia, China, and Vietnam
FESCo has officially reinstated its FCDL-2 service and comprehensively realigned the rotations of FCDL-1 and FCDL-3, aiming to optimize transport capacity and connectivity between Vladivostok and key ports in China and Vietnam.
FESCo (Far East Shipping Company) has implemented a series of significant adjustments to its service network connecting the Russian Far East, China, and Vietnam. This move includes the reinstatement of a suspended service loop and the reconfiguration of existing rotations to optimize port coverage.
According to the latest data from Alphaliner, FESCo has officially resumed the Fesco China Direct Line 2 (FCDL-2) following its suspension last April. With the return of the FCDL-2, Chinese ports previously served by this loop have been decoupled from the FCDL-3 rotation.
To maintain market coverage and network balance, the FCDL-3 service will take over port calls at Shantou and Xiamen—which were previously part of the FCDL-1/FVDL rotation.
Below are the detailed updated port rotations for the services:
• FCDL-1/FVDL Service (Focusing on Vietnam connectivity): Vladivostok → Ho Chi Minh City → Haiphong → Nansha → Vladivostok.
• FCDL-2 Service (Reinstated): Vladivostok → Tianjin → Dalian → Rizhao → Lianyungang → Vladivostok.
• FCDL-3 Service (Adjusted): Vladivostok → Shantou → Xiamen → Wenzhou (fortnightly) → Ningbo → Shanghai → Vladivostok.
These strategic adjustments aim to optimize port coverage and streamline FESCo's operations along the vital transport corridor between the Russian Far East and major manufacturing hubs in China and Vietnam.
