Geodis completes Keppel acquisition to expand Asia Pacific market

The deal was first announced at the beginning of the year but Geodis has now received all regulatory approvals allowing Geodis to complete the acquisition.
Geodis said the acquisition will strengthen the two companies' respective e-commerce offerings by combining Keppel Logistics' delivery service with its own regulated air freight network as well as its seafreight and road transport connections across the region.
Headquartered in Singapore, Keppel Logistics is a 3rd party logistics (3PL) specialist with nearly 500 employees and operations across Asia Pacific, operating approximately 200,000 square meters of warehouse space across Singapore, Malaysia and Australia.

“The acquisition of Keppel Logistics marks a key milestone in Geodis’ Asia Pacific ambition, increasing our Contract Logistics footprint and e-commerce fulfillment services in Singapore and Asia-Pacific.”
