THE Alliance adjusts rotations of Transpacific services
Due to port congestion in North America, many of THE Alliance's transpacific services will have port adjustments from August.

The northwest coast of North America continues to experience port congestion with vessel delays. This is why many of THE Alliance's trans-Pacific services (including Hapag-Lloyd, ONE (Ocean Network Express), Yang Ming and HMM) will have port adjustments starting in August.
These changes will apply from week 33 to week 37 of the year for THE Alliance's Pacific North Loop 2 and 3 services.
The Pacific North Loop 2 (PN2) service, starting with the YM TipTop from Singapore, will bypass the port of Vancouver in Canada and will also add a call at Shanghai in China.
At the same time, Pacific North Loop (PN3) and Pacific North Loop (PN4) services will provide alternative shipping schedules to and from Vancouver.
The reason Shanghai was temporarily added was to expand connectivity options in Asia through THE Alliance's PN2, PN3 and PN4 services.
The PN3 service, starting with the Seaspan Beacon from Hong Kong, will have no ships calling at the US port of Tacoma. Alliance customers will have the option to have their cargo shipped from Tacoma through the PN2 and PN4 services.
Finally, westbound sailings to Tokyo and Kobe in Japan will be switched from the PN2 service to the PN3 service.
