THE Alliance adjusts service network for 2022

THE Alliance’s network has been reconfigured to ensure a comprehensive port coverage. This service network will take effect from the first quarter of 2022.

The service network of THE Alliance (including three shipping lines ONE, Hapag-Lloyd and Yang Ming) will be adjusted to expand the scope of service provision and be more comprehensive. This service network will take effect from the first quarter of 2022.

An important change is to split the FP2 pendulum service into two separate services, namely FE5: Southeast Asia to Europe and PS7: Southeast Asia and South China to North America West Coast, with the main focus is on increasing frequency by ensuring these stand-alone services operate more quickly and flexibly.

Another important change is the deployment of larger vessels for the most frequent services. The introduction of a range of fuel-efficient 11,000 TEU vessels that will replace older carriers and reflect THE Alliance's continued commitment to reducing carbon emissions.

THE Alliance members have found that disruptions and congestion at key ports around the world are causing supply chain delays. Therefore, they will continuously work to come up with flexible and robust recovery measures to make vessels turn around faster.

THE Alliance's service network will be adjusted and expanded as follows:
