Yang Ming announced a profit of 4 billion USD in the first 6 months of 2022
Yang Ming Shipping posted a profit after tax of $4 billion and earnings per share of $1.1 for the first half of 2022.

Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation (Yang Ming) posted profit after tax and earnings per share (EPS) of US$4 billion (NT$116.11 billion) and US$1.1 (NT$33.25) for the first half of 2022, respectively.
During the 376th meeting of the board of directors, the Taiwanese container shipping company reported that consolidated revenue for the same period came in at US$7.5 Billion (NT$216.15 Billion), up 59.5% year on year.
In the first six months of 2022, Yang Ming handled 2.27 million TEUs, up 2% from the first half of 2021.
Meanwhile, Yang Ming's revenue in the second quarter was $3.8 billion, up 49.4% year-on-year.
Yang Ming also posted a profit after tax of $1.9 billion and EPS of $0.53 ($15.9) for the second quarter of 2022.
