COSCO SHIPPING launches AEU7 - Direct shipping service from Vietnam to Europe
COSCO SHIPPING – one of the world’s leading container shipping lines – continues to affirm its commitment to improving service quality and providing optimal transportation solutions for global customers. From April 16, 2025, COSCO SHIPPING officially launched AEU7 service – a new direct shipping route connecting Vietnam with major ports in Europe, especially with the departure point in Ba Ria – Vung Tau (Cai Mep).
AEU7 Service – Direct and Efficient Connection between Vietnam and Europe
The AEU7 service is a strategic step forward for COSCO to meet the growing demand for cargo transportation between Vietnam and key markets in Europe. Under the new structure, the AEU7 service will have the following schedule:
- Route: Cai Mep – Rotterdam – Hamburg – Zeebrugge – Felixstowe
- Frequency: Weekly
- Port of Loading: Cai Mep
- ETA/ETD: Tuesday/Wednesday
The transit time from Cai Mep to the first port in Europe – Rotterdam – is expected to be around 30 days, making it one of the most competitive shipping options on the market today in terms of speed and reliability.
Fast and convenient intra-Asia connection
Not only serving the European route, the AEU7 service also provides effective intra-Asia connection, especially the Cai Mep - Singapore route with a transit time of only about 2 days, helping businesses easily connect with the leading transit hub in the region.
