Initial stage:

- 1961: Established with Korea - Japan line and President Yoon Jong-geun.

- 1972: Opened a representative office in Tokyo.

- 1973: Opened the container liner with the shipping route between Korea and Japan.

- 1974: Opened connecting routes between Korea and Southeast Asia.

- 1980: Opened a representative office in Singapore and established the Busan Jaesong container yard with an area of more than 25,000 square meters.

- In 1984: Opened 2 companies Dongbo Sangseon and Dongbo Express.

- 1986 to 1991: Opened the market container ship route between Korea and Manila, Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh City, Indonesia.

- 1992 to 1993: Opened representative offices in Jakarta and Ho Chi Minh.

- 1993 to 1994: Continuously signed association contracts with Hanjin Shipping, Dongsung Group and Sakhalin Shipping Lines.

- 1995 to 1996: Opened representative offices in Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.

- 2003: Opened a representative office in Bangkok, Thailand.

- 2004: Established branch in Tianjin & Dalian.

- 2004: Invested in Lianyungang CK Ferry Company and H&V Logistics Company.

- 2005: Merger of PT.Haspul International Group of Indonesia and San Ei Shipping Line of Japan.

- 2007: Established Heung A Logistics Company with capital of 1 billion won (20 billion VND), acquired CK STAR Shipping Line.

- 2008: Established a subsidiary in Vietnam with the name HEUNG-A SHIPPING VIETNAM CO.,LTD.

- In 2020: Heung A Line expands service to Sri Lanka
